Red Carpet // Met Gala 2015

What I like about the Met Ball is that it has a theme. Personally, I like outfits that nod to the theme with a particular accessory or cut - when you can clearly see the inspirations. I don't mind a full embracing of the theme but I think there's a fine line between nailing it and looking like you're at a fancy dress party. Here are my best and worst from the Met Gala 2015, inspired by China: Through the Looking Glass. Let me know if you agree in the comments...

Always get it right...

Surprised at how much I like it...

Not always my faves but LOVE...

Simple but not boring...

So disappointed :( ...

  1. I loved Lizzy Caplan's dress - admittedly it was simple but so elegant and she looked absolutely amazing! And I agree, Claire Danes always looked so beautifully put together. Great post! x

  2. I must admit I disliked 98% of the Met Gala outfits. I think the Olsens were my faves!

    1. Really? It's not so much their outfits but their hair/make-up it's borderline scary :( x
